Birmingham firefighters quarantined after possible Ebola exposure

Multiple Birmingham firefighters are being quarantined tonight after treating a patient with Ebola-like symptoms, police said Tuesday night.
Birmingham Police Lt. Joe Roberts confirmed multiple people were quarantined after responding to a call at a house at 1612 17th Street SW Tuesday evening. During the call, the firefighters came into contact with someone with Ebola-like symptoms.
The area around the home has been closed to traffic. Birmingham Police said there appears to be no danger to the public.
